It was time for Evie’s 9 1/2-year-old summer stitch fix a couple of months ago. I love that it lets us get a few new summer pieces in her wardrobe. She asked for a new bathing suit and sandals and some nice casual tops and bottoms mixed in. She was very happy with this fix.

BCBGirls-Nina Woven Waistline Dress - $30

Mia-Celane Fisherman Knotted Sandal-$32

Evie normally does not love white pieces, but she really liked the style of this dress. It is the perfect outfit for an upcoming summer trip too.

The sandals were exactly what she wanted to add to her closet. We both love the brand MIA, because they are comfortable and stylish. These wedges are also very minimal on the wedge, which makes them even cooler!

Bixby Nomad- The Strappy Swing Tank-$16

Revery Kids - Cut off Denim Shorts -$22

We asked for different colored shorts. Since it is so hot here, she spends most of the summer in shorts. Instead of all the standard denim color, adding a different color of denim is exactly what she wanted.

The top is such a nice light and flowy tank top for this heat. It is a little long on her shorter torso. It makes it perfect for a front tuck.

Runway - The Twist Back Tank - $16

Hippie Girl - Selina Knit Denim Cuff Shorts - $18

Evie and I both live in denim shorts for most of our summer. That means that most of the year, shorts are vital for us. Stitch Fix always pulls through with the well-fitting shirts that she loves. She also asked for racerback tanks and this one was a perfect neutral to mix with all the rest of her bottoms.

Runway - The Active Racerback Tank- $16

Runway - The Active Skort - $22

Evie asked for my workout wear, but stylish workout wear. This skirt was perfect with the fun, cute print. It could be dressed up with a blouse, but will probably keep being worn casually with this black tank. Black goes with everything, so it’s an important staple that we needed for her closet.

Chenault Girl - Stretch Denim Skirtall w/ Buttons and Pockets - $30

We kept on the black racerback tank to try this one on. I have never heard of the word skirtall. I suppose that makes sense for overalls that have a skirt bottom. It is still a little big on her, but we are saving it in her closet for now.

Habitual - Luna Ruffle High Waisted Bikini - $30

This was probably the winning piece. We asked for a new bathing suit, which we do in every summer box, but this one was for an event. Her new bathing suit was going to be worn for her end-of-the-year gymnastics pool party. We really loved the style of this one, with the high waist and the one-shoulder ruffle. It is definitely a favorite and very unique then the rest of her bathing suit wardrobe.

This box was another win and we kept everything for our 25% discount. It made all these prices even less. We spent the same amount on this box as we did in recent back-to-school shopping at a discount department store. And we have yet to see anyone wearing the same pieces.

If Stich Fix is something that you have ever wanted to try, feel free to use this referral code. It gives us each $25, which more then covers the first styling fee.
